The Nacreous Oughts

27 February 2012

    87.
Barnabites
on Shikoku Bridge
fruit kan loops garoo
garuda rudiment in
rushing culverts
the songs you carry inside you
are all you can take away
& where your eyes have tarried
& what your hands have learned to make
the contrail rood will flourish
with the contrail crescent
cities that might have been populous
footprints maybe still in the regolith
& gather not for protection
but gather to share the tale
that one day we will rise again
& be known among nations

a rushing culvert spoke
& i tallied what it said to me
